I’m not going anywhere–I have 5 books to write. However, Book II: The Saga of Thranduil has been put into the Mirkwood Vaults until its 4th anniversary–next December 22. That’s “Disney-speak modified for Middle-Earth” for it’s got more editing to do and some things need to be added. With the exception of the death of my father, 2018 has been an amazing year for me. I started the second volume of my trilogy, added another writer to write another Tolkien-based series of books, and added another standalone book to the roster of Middle-Earth themed books.

Overall, I think my father would be proud–in the first five months of being on WordPress, The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy received an astounding 6300+ views (and counting) breaking the record of another blog of mine that received 700+ followers in 3 months on Tumblr (still holding its record on that platform). Considering the Tumblr blog is humorous (and Middle-Earth related), I’d say TKWR Trilogy is holding its own quite nicely on a plethora of websites from Twitter to LinkedIn.

Here’s to 2019: I look forward to more writing, more posting, and many more adventures. The Road Goes Ever On. –J.
