I got this message today from one of my web presences. I’ve gotten many compliments–even from a soldier serving our country overseas. I’m humbled by all of them but this was the first time someone mentioned J.R.R. Tolkien in a way that got to me; for the purpose of writing The Kingdom of the Woodland Realm Trilogy was to honor Tolkien and in some manner get people to read or reread his wonderful works from the point of view of his elves–first book that was completed being told by Thranduil in Book II: The Saga of Thranduil.
To think people want to see this book (which is still being written) in print makes me smile. When I started this endeavor my only goal was to finish something for my dad. He’s still with me (and I taught him how to text so he’ll do that now before calling) and I’m on the second book of this trilogy. This was touching and let me know I was fulfilling my promise to Professor Tolkien and my dad Professor Miller–writing something they could be proud to read.
The only question left: Where do I go from here?

I’m currently working on Book I: The Epic of Eryn Galen and that will be followed by Book III: The Last Tale of Legolas Lasgalen (and its extended version) and a stand-alone As Yet Untitled. Book II: The Saga of Thranduil has an extended version that was completed on December 22, 2017 alongside the original version.
